From Sheila Waters/cyberscribes
The dates are appearing in several guild newsletters and there is a website so the news is getting out. So far the website has but one page, and is being built. But it has a block where you can put your e-mail address, then
you click on "Notify Me". The website, as you might expect, is simply:

Twenty-five faculty are being invited (really invited, not just to submit proposals) and no-one will be dropped - a very different approach from the last few years - cheers! There will be no Scribe Store - instead a Market Night (very successful at St. John's conference in 2009) where each "vendor" displays his/her own stuff andis right there to sell, and answer questions - more cheers!

The aim is to honor the legacy of Lloyd Reynolds, the legendary teacher of calligraphy at Reed College, by "focusing the majority of classes on calligraphy and 'to examine its heritage with the idea of whose shoulders do you stand on'".
